Armenia leads the CIS in industrial output growth (18.8%) for January 2013 compared to the same period a year earlier, The Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS reported Monday.

YEREVAN, March 11. /ARKA/. Armenia leads the CIS in industrial output growth (18.8%) for January 2013 compared to the same period a year earlier, The Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS reported Monday.
Industry output also grew in Kyrgyzstan (13.6%), Uzbekistan (7.7%), Tajikistan (5%), Kazakhstan (0.7%), Belarus (0.4%) and Azerbaijan (0.1%).
At the same time, industry production dropped in Ukraine by 3.2%, Russia-0.8% and Moldova-3.1%.
Overall, industrial output slashed on average by 0.6% in the CIS in January 2013 compared to the same month a year earlier. -0-
