Armenia’s brandy output grew 28.8% in Jan-July 2016, compared with the same period a year before, to 9,969,900 liters, the National Statistical Service reports.

YEREVAN, August 31. /ARKA/. Armenia’s brandy output grew 28.8% in Jan-July 2016, compared with the same period a year before, to 9,969,900 liters, the National Statistical Service reports.
The country’s wine industry built up its output by 10% to 3,314,300 liters, while vodka industry has its output reduced by 4.3% to 4,766,900 liters.
According to the statistical report, whiskey output grew 1.9 times to 890,300 liters and champagne output increased 10.1% to 217,700 liters.
Some 11,316,600 liters of beer have been produced in Armenia over a period between January and July 2016 – 15.4% year-on-year decline.
The country’s soft drinks industry accounted for 38,670,800 liters and 6.6% year-on-year decline in Jan-July 2016. --0---
