Armenia's foreign trade drops by 12.2 % in January-February 2021

YEREVAN, March 25. /ARKA/. Armenia's foreign trade turnover in January-February 2021 was 12.2% down from the same time span of 2020 falling to about $925.5 million, according to the numbers, released by the National Statistical Committee.
The foreign trade in February 2021, compared to January 2021, was up 24.9%, and down 9.5% compared to February 2020. The foreign trade equivalent in Armenian drams in January-February 2021 was 483.3 billion drams.
Exports in January-February 2021, compared to January-February 2020, decreased by 5.5% to $354.4 million. In February 2021, compared to January 2021, they increased by 21.8%, and compared to February 2020 - decreased by 2%. In dram equivalent, exports in January-February 2021 amounted to 185.1 billion drams.
Imports in the reporting period amounted to $571.1 million, down 15.8% compared to January-February 2020. In February 2021, compared to January 2021, imports increased by 26.9%, and compared to February 2020, decreased by 13.6%.
