Armenia’s industrial output grew 3.3% in 2021 to about 2.3 trillion drams
YEREVAN, February 9. /ARKA/. Armenia's industrial output in January-December 2021 amounted to 2,385,909.7 trillion drams (in current prices), an increase of 3.3% compared to the same period of 2020, the National Statistical Committee said.
It said the industrial output in 2021 December was up 6.8% from November 2021 and up 7.9% from to December 2020.
The output of the mining industry amounted to 587,924.4 billion drams (a decrease of 0.8% compared to 2020, and 1.8% compared to November 2021). The processing industry’s output in 2021 was 1,495, 785.1 trillion drams, up 3,4% from 2020.
The production and distribution of electricity, gas, steam and purified air was worth 279,219.2 billion drams, up 9.3%from 2020 , while water supply, sewerage, waste management and recycling was worth 22,981.0 billion drams, up 7.1% from 2020.-0-. ($1 - 480.29 drams). -0-
