Armenia’s industrial output saw a 6.8 percent rise in 2013 amounting 1.240.6 trillion drams, the National Statistical Service said today.

YEREVAN, February 4. / ARKA /. Armenia’s industrial output saw a 6.8 percent rise in 2013 amounting 1.240.6 trillion drams, the National Statistical Service said today.

According to its numbers, manufacturing industry accounted for approximately 62.5 % of the total output. Last year it increased by 7.7% to about 775.6 billion drams. The mining sector increased by 8.1 % to about 196.7 billion drams.

Electricity, gas, steam and conditioning air supplies rose by 2.6 percent to 250.5 billion drams. Water supply, purification, waste treatment rose by 7.6 percent to 17.7 billion drams. ($ 1 - 408.09 drams). -0-
