An Armenian Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sragsyan discussed today ways to improve Armenia’s standing in Doing Business ranking, the government press service reported.

YEREVAN, March 11. / ARKA /. An Armenian Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sragsyan discussed today ways to improve Armenia’s standing in Doing Business ranking, the government press service reported.

Economy minister Vahram Avanesyan and representatives of relevant government agencies spoke of reasons for delays in the implementation of a set of measures designed to raise Armenia’s position.

The prime minister instructed relevant agencies to organize round table discussions with stakeholders and to inform the public at large about measures taken to improve Armenia’s standing in the ranking.

In the latest Doing Business ranking of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Armenia was ranked 37th , located between Belgium (36) and France (38) and ahead of Cyprus, Poland, Spain , Luxembourg and Italy. -0-
