YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has been appointed a member of the board of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company.

The agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company was signed by the prime ministers of the EEU member states (Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan) in Yerevan on October 20, 2022. Its head office is to be located in Yerevan.

The company is established to stimulate mutual and foreign trade, implementation of joint cooperation projects and investments.

The authorized capital of the company is to amount to 15 billion Russian rubles. The main shareholders are Russia and Belarus with 45% and 30% respectively. Kazakhstan's share is 20% Armenia’s share is 3% and 2% is Kyrgyzstan’s.

Earlier it was reported that Armenia will allocate 450 million rubles for the creation of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company. --0--
