Chshmarityan: Armenia enjoying foreign investment growth in all directions

Armenian Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan told journalists on Thursday ahead of a regular Cabinet meeting that increase in foreign investments is seen in almost all directions.

YEREVAN, December 3. /ARKA/. Armenian Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan told journalists on Thursday ahead of a regular Cabinet meeting that increase in investments is seen in almost all directions.
Referring to the figures released yesterday by the National Statistical Service, he said that the rally came after a certain decline in some direct foreign investments.
«Growth is seen in all directions and on all countries,» he said.
According to the official statistical reports, foreign investments in the real sector of Armenia's economy made in Jan-Sept 2015 not through banks and without state administration totaled about AMD 141.5 billion showing a 36.6% year-on-year growth.
Switzerland was the largest investor in Armenia in Jan-Sep 2015. It has invested AMD 44.6 billion over nine months of this year. Its direct investments amounted to AMD 41.6 billion.
Germany and Luxembourg were Armenia's second and third biggest investors in Jan-Sep 2015. ($1 – AMD 483.71). --0----
