Consumer prices in Armenia in January-June 2024, according to preliminary data, decreased by 0.6% year-on-year, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.

YEREVAN, 26 July. /ARKA/. Consumer prices in Armenia in January-June 2024, according to preliminary data, decreased by 0.6% year-on-year, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said.

In June of the current year compared to June of the last year, a 0.8 per cent increase was registered in consumer prices, while compared to May 2024 they were down 0.9 per cent.

According to the NSC, prices of industrial goods in January-June 2024 compared to the same period of 2023 increased by 2.7%. In June this year, prices of industrial goods rose by 0.8% yoy and remained unchanged compared to May 2024.

According to preliminary data of the National Statistical Committee, in January-June 2024, Armenia's economic activity registered a growth of 10.4% compared to the same period in 2023. -0-
