Domestic trade turnover in Armenia for 2 months totaled 822.7 billion drams with 7.8% growth

YEREVAN, April 8. /ARKA/. Armenia's domestic trade turnover in January-February 2025 totaled 822,658.3 million drams (in current prices), up 7.8% compared to January-February 2024, according to the numbers released by the National Statistical Committee.
At the same time, in February 2025 this indicator amounted to 408,294.1 million drams, the growth compared to February 2024 was 28.3%, and compared to January of the same year - 21%.
In the total volume, the turnover of wholesale trade during the reporting period amounted to 531,891.4 million drams (share - 64.7%, growth compared to the same period of the previous year - 9.2%), the turnover of retail trade - 259,277.1 million drams (share - 31.5%, growth - 4.9%), and the turnover of automobile trade - 31,489.8 million drams (share - 8.8%, growth - 9.4%).
In the structure of retail trade, stores account for 82.1% of the total retail turnover (volume - 212,812.2 million drams, 5.1% growth), consumer goods markets for 4.1% (10,586.4 million drams, 2.9% growth), growth - 2.9%), kiosks for 1.4% (3,656.2 million drams, decline - 1.9%), markets of agricultural products for 0.9% (2,361.3 million drams, growth - 9.7%), and other trade objects for 11.5% (29,861.0 million drams, growth - 5.3%).
