The exports of fruits from Armenia to Russia doubled in January-June 2024
YEREVAN, June 14. /ARKA/. The exports of fruits from Armenia to Russia doubled in January-June 2024 compared to the same period of 2023, as revealed by Armenia’s Economy Minister, Gevorg Papoyan, on Friday.
He also mentioned that last year Armenia re-exported several thousand tonnes of kiwifruit to Russia, but this year saw a growth in exports of pears, apples, and apricots—fruits that are actually produced in Armenia, unlike kiwi.
Papoyan also noted that he sees no reasons that might cause issues with exports to Russia.
