Kazakhstan to close trade representation in Russia

YEREVAN, February 2. /ARKA/. Kazakhstan said it will close its trade representation in Russia. The country's Ministry of Trade said the office will be closed down by order of Prime Minister, Finmarket reported.
The trade representation of Kazakhstan in Russia is engaged in providing free assistance to domestic exporters and distributors, as well as attracting foreign investment to Kazakhstan.
A draft government decree was published on Wednesday for public discussion. The explanatory note says that the closure of the office "will not lead to negative socio-economic and legal consequences," and that "the provisions of the decision will not lead to a negative impact on national security.'
The draft decree will be under public discussion until February 15, 2023. -0-
