STEPANAKERT, December 20. /ARKA/. Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s lawmakers discussed the 2014 draft government budget on Thursday, the press office of the Nagorno-Karabakh National Assembly reports.
Finance and Economy Minister Spartak Tevosyan, presenting the draft budget to legislators, said the government will seek economic growth and concentrate its attention on construction and defense.
He proposed the parliament to approve the government-projected budget revenue of AMD 77 billion and 138 million, spending of AMD 80 billion 690.2 million and deficit of AMD 3 billion and 552.2 million.
Parliament Speaker Ashot Gulyan, on his part, said that there can be at least a four-day interruption in these budget hearings.
«Factions and MPs may submit their written proposals to the Parliament administration for further transfer to the government,» he said. --0---
