Nonfood prices rise 1% in Armenia in April

Prices for nonfoods in Armenia went one percent up in April 2015, compared with the previous month, the National Statistical Service reports.

YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. Prices for nonfoods in Armenia went one percent up in April 2015, compared with the previous month, the National Statistical Service reports.
The price rise was mainly due to increase of office stationery by 1.4%, cultural goods by 1.5%, medicaments by 2.2%, shoes by 2.7%, clothes by 3.3%, textile by 0.1%, personal usage goods by 0.2%, furniture by 0.3%, cosmetics by 0.3%, carpets by 0.4%, household devises by 0.4%, household electronic devices by 0.6% and contraction materials by 0.8%.
Golden jewelry prices shed 1.2% for fuel 0.4% and for gardeners' goods 0.2%.
Prices for detergents and kitchen appliances remained unchanged.
Prices for foods in Armenia went 1.5% down in April 2015, compared with the previous month. ---0----
