YEREVAN, October 26. /ARKA/. Armenian and Georgian Prime Ministers Nikol Pashinyan and Irakli Garibashvili met in Tbilisi, the press service of the Armenian government reports.

Pashinyan travled to Gerogai to attend and address Silk Road international conference in Tbilisi. It said the two men discussed a set of issues related to the agenda of the Armenian-Georgian cooperation, including bilateral economic ties.

The sides touched upon the processes taking place in the region and attached importance of consistent steps towards peace and stability.

According to the National Statistical Committee of Armenia, the trade turnover between Armenia and Georgia in the first 8 months of 2023 amounted to almost $172 million, having decreased by 16.7% compared to January-August 2022.

Armenian exports to Georgia amounted to $98.8 million with a decline of 11.2%, while imports to Armenia amounted to $637.7 million (66.7% growth). -0-
