YEREVAN, November 23. /ARKA/. The number of officially registered jobs in Armenia hit a new record in November 2023, growing to over 730,000, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced today.
Speaking at a regular government session Pashinyan said the number of officially registered jobs has soared by 183,000 since May 2018, when he came to power.
He said the economic dynamics suggest that more new jobs will be created. Pashinyan expressed hope that ethnic Armenians who fled Nagorno-Karabakh after Azerbaijani offensive in September will find jobs and give a fresh push to the labor market dynamics.
The previous record was set in October this year, when the number of registered jobs amounted to 726,056. -0-
