South Caucasus Railway to get 36.2 mln drams in compensation for international military freight shipments

At its meeting Thursday Armenia’s government decided to compensate 36.2 million drams to the South Caucasus Railway cjsc for contribution to international military and defense freight shipping in the third quarter of 2013.

YEREVAN, January 16. /ARKA/. At its meeting Thursday Armenia’s government decided to compensate 36.2 million drams to the South Caucasus Railway cjsc for contribution to international military and defense freight shipping in the third quarter of 2013.
The money will be allocated from the government reserve fund, deputy head of national security Arzuman Haruitnunyan said in presenting the bill.
The South Caucasus Railway, a subsidiary of Russian Railways, runs Armenian Railway, which was handed over to the company on February 13, 2008 for 30-year concession management with a provision for further extension of the management term for another 10 years. ($1=AMD 406.99). –0--
