The first three thousand tons of nitric fertilizers imported to Armenia

The first batch of nitric fertilizers of 2.9 thousand tons was delivered to Armenia from Ukraine, press-service of the government informed ARKA News Agency.
YEREVAN, February 20. /ARKA/. The first batch of nitric fertilizers of 2.9 thousand tons was delivered to Armenia from Ukraine, press-service of the government informed ARKA News Agency.
Government of Armenia on October 21, 2011 adopted decision on the development of bio-fertilizer market, in accordance with which Armenia imports annually about 25-30 thousand tons of nitric fertilizers.
According to the press-release, Prime Minister of Armenia personally followed the unloading of wagons in railway station “Karmir Blur” in Yerevan.
The fertilizer will be provided to the land users by available prices – 6 thousand tons per pack (instead of market price of 8-9 thousand drams).
All the expenses related to the delivery of fertilizers to the communities will bear the State.
By April 10, 2012 in total in Armenia will be imported about 25 thousand tons of nitric fertilizers.--0-
