ARMENIAN PROSECUTOR GENERAL’S OFFICE UNITES FIVE NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL CASES INTO ONE

Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office, at its Thursday’s session, united five undisclosed notorious criminal cases into one, Armenian Prosecutor General Press Secretary Sona Truzyan reports.
YEREVAN, July 19. /ARKA/. Armenian Prosecutor General’s Office, at its Thursday’s session, united five undisclosed notorious criminal cases into one, Armenian Prosecutor General Press Secretary Sona Truzyan reports.
One of these cases is disappearance of Eduard Nikoghosyan on October 5, 2004, the second is Kakhprik OJSC director Ashot Vardanyan murder committed on March 4, 2006, the third is an act of hooliganism outside Bolero restaurant on Juke 11, 2006, when Arthur Vardanyan (son of murdered Ashot Vardanyan) shot Armen Hakobyan and wounded him, the fourth is the murder of Stepan Vardanyan (son of killed Ashot Vardanyan and brother of Arthur Vardanyan) on May 9, 2007, and the fifth is murders of Artavazd Vardanyan (son of slain Ashot Vardanyan and brother of Arthur and Stepan Vardanyan), Vardan Melikyan and Grigor Stepanyan committed on July 7, 2007 in a cemetery.
The case is sent to Armenian Police Department for comprehensive investigation.
Two of the mentioned homicides – Ashot Vardanyan and Stepan Vardanyan murders are already disclosed.
Hayk Karapetyan is charged with the first murder and Hayk Benikyan with the second.
Both suspects are at large now and announced wanted.
