YEREVAN, August 16. /ARKA/. Armenian Defense Ministry said today an Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's report alleging that the Armenian Armed Forces made an attempt of sabotage penetration in the eastern part of the border was an 'absolute lie.'

Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that a reservist, drafted for military call-up, identified as G.V. left his combat position without permission. It said the circumstances of how the reservist could have ended up on the Azerbaijani side were being studied.

The ministry said also that search operations were underway to discover the reservist.-0-
