One person was killed and five others were injured by an explosion that occurred today morning inside a Unibank branch in the town of Ashtarak, 20 km away from the capital Yerevan.

YEREVAN, July 6, /ARKA/. One person was killed and five others were injured by an explosion that occurred today morning inside a Unibank branch in the town of Ashtarak, 20 km away from the capital Yerevan.

The incident was reported to the Emergency Situations Ministry's Crisis Center at 09.07. It said the injured persons were rushed to the local medical center.

The fire caused by the explosion was extinguished at 9.54. According to preliminary information, the explosion was caused by natural gas leak.-0-
