Man illegally crossing Armenia-Turkey border caught

In recent days, Russia’s border guards on service in Armenia caught a man as he wanted to cross the border illegally, the press office of the border division of Russia’s Federal Security Service reported on Wednesday. According to the report, the border guards noticed a man in Turkey’s territory, who crossed Arax border river and tried to decamp in Armenia’s territory. In a few minutes the offender was caught.
YEREVAN, April 17. /ARKA/. In recent days, Russia’s border guards on service in Armenia caught a man as he wanted to cross the border illegally, the press office of the border division of Russia’s Federal Security Service reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the border guards noticed a man in Turkey’s territory, who crossed Arax border river and tried to decamp in Armenia’s territory. In a few minutes the offender was caught.
The man said that he is a Pakistani citizen and that he has tried to get to the European Union countries through Armenia. A Pakistan citizen passport and a mobile phone were found in a search of the offender. The investigation is being held now to clarify all circumstances. -0---
