A moderate magnitude 3.4 earthquake was registered at 12.31 pm today in the northwestern Armenian province of Shirak.

YEREVAN, October 5. /ARKA/. A moderate magnitude 3.4 earthquake was registered at 12.31 pm today in the northwestern Armenian province of Shirak.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the earthquake occurred 14 km north-east of the village of Bavra on the border with Georgia. It said the focus was 10 km deep, the magnitude was 3.4. At the epicenter, the strength of the tremors was 4-5 points.
A magnitude 3 earthquake was felt in the villages of Zuigakhbyur, Ashotsk and Bavra in the Shirak region, in the towns of Tashir and Alaverdi in the Lori region and in the Tumanyan community. -0-
