Armenia and Hungary to simplify reciprocal taxation

07.10.2010, 23:12
Armenia’s parliament has ratified today an agreement with Hungary excluding double taxation of incomes and property and tax evasion.
YEREVAN, October 7, /ARKA/. Armenia’s parliament has ratified today an agreement with Hungary excluding double taxation of incomes and property and tax evasion.

The agreement was signed in 2009 November in Budapest. A deputy finance minister Suren Karayan said the goal of this agreement is to rule out instances of double taxation and create a friendly tax and customs field.

‘By this agreement we shall cut negative tax obstacles impeding attraction of investments and boosting trade and will create a very friendly environment for Armenian-Hungarian economic cooperation,’ he said. -0-
