CONFERENCE “ARMENIAN CONSTITUTION: THEORY AND POLITICAL REALITY” KICKS OFF IN YEREVAN

Leader of the United Liberal-National Party of Armenia (ULNP) Levon Martirosyan reported that the conference opens a series of similar discussions to be held by the party within the next few days.
YEREVAN, July11. /ARKA/. The conference “Armenian Constitution: theory and political reality” started in Yerevan Wednesday.
Leader of the United Liberal-National Party of Armenia (ULNP) Levon Martirosyan reported that the conference opens a series of similar discussions to be held by the party within the next few days.
“The discussions are highly important, because they give an opportunity to form an idea of human rights and freedoms and other institutes, fixed in the Constitution,” he said.
According to Martirosyan, participating in the discussions will be well-known lawyers, experts in the sphere of legislation and judicial and legal reforms, scientists, representatives of political parties, NGOs, students and journalists. The ULNP President encouraged the discussion participants to hold “open and free debates”.
Armenian Ombudsman Armen Arutyunyan and Chairman of the parliamentary standing committee for government and legal issues David Harutyunyan will deliver presentations at the conference. The conference is organized by the ULNP and Association of British Graduates. R.O. –0--
