Elections held at good level, observers state

The presidential election has been held at a good level in Armenia, the member of the CIS observer mission Alexander Obernibesov told ARKA.

YEREVAN, February 20. /ARKA/. The presidential election has been held at a good level in Armenia, the member of the CIS observer mission Alexander Obernibesov told ARKA.

“The election has been held at a good organizational level and in full conformity with the RA Election Code,” he said.

Obernibesov reported that they did not make any remarks on the election process.

He pointed out that the turnout was normal for the CIS. “The turnout is normal for the presidential election in all the states, that is, good. This is a quite normal situation,” Obernibesov said.

The presidential election was held in Armenia on February 19. By 8:00 p.m. local time, 1,642,057 or 69.26% of the voters had participated in the voting. P.T. –0--
