Speaking at a regular session of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Moscow on Tuesday Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said his government is firmly committed to the early establishment of peace in the South Caucasus and bringing the region to the path of stable and predictable development.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin have reached an agreement whereby starting from January 1, 2025, the border troops of the National Security Service of Armenia will 'participate in the protection of Armenian state borders with Iran and Turkey,' Pashinyan's press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan reported.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold two bilateral meetings with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Kremlin ahead of the CIS summit on 8 October. Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said this at a press briefing, TASS reported.
