Azerbaijan has shelled the north-eastern section of Armenia-Azerbaijan border 17 times over the past night, Armenia’s defense ministry reported Monday morning.
YEREVAN, April 11. /ARKA/. Azerbaijan has shelled the north-eastern section of Armenia-Azerbaijan border 17 times over the past night, Armenia’s defense ministry reported Monday morning.
The ministry says that the shelling was not regular.
According to the press release, Armenian troops, displaying restraint, resort to return fire only in cases of extreme necessity. Things along the border are being controlled property by Armenian armed forces.
It also became known from Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s defense ministry that the Azerbaijani side shelled also Karabakh army positions in a clear breach of the ceasefire agreement reached on Tuesday. --0----
