Armenia, most probably, will sign an agreement to join the Customs Union (CU) already in May, Armenia’s deputy foreign minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said at the conference “Armenia-CU – opportunities and challenges” in Yerevan Saturday.

YEREVAN, March 31. /ARKA/. Armenia, most probably, will sign an agreement to join the Customs Union (CU) already in May, Armenia’s deputy foreign minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said at the conference “Armenia-CU – opportunities and challenges” in Yerevan Saturday.
The deputy minister said the agreement will be submitted for discussion at the National Assembly, Novosti-Armenia reported.
The conference of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia entitled “Armenia-CU – opportunities and challenges” started in Yerevan Saturday. The conference is attended by Armenia’s premier Tigran Sargsyan, member of Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission for integration and macroeconomics Tatyana Valovaya, Armenia’s deputy minister of economy Karine Minasyan, deputy foreign minister Shavarsh Kocharyan, head of Armenia’s parliament committee for budget, finance and credit issues Gagik Minasyan, first deputy head of presidential administration Vardan Aramyan, minister of finance David Sargsyan, head of Armenia’s food safety Abram Bakhchagulyan and vice-speaker Hermine Naghdalyan. –0—
