Armenia plays exclusive part in Francophonie fold

Armenia’s role in Francophonie family is exclusive, and today representatives of more than 80 countries, members of the International Organization of Francophonie are full of gratitude to this country, IOF Secretary General Michaelle Jean said Sunday at a news conference in Yerevan.

Armenia’s role in Francophonie family is exclusive, and today representatives of more than 80 countries, members of the International Organization of Francophonie are full of gratitude to this country, IOF Secretary General Michaelle Jean said Sunday at a news conference in Yerevan.
She said that all the participants of the 31st MOF foreign ministerial meeting in Yerevan had visited Tsitseernakaberd, the Genocide Victims Memorial in Yerevan.
Senegalese Foreign Minister Mankeur Ndiaye, on his side, stressed that the conference has been organized excellently and thanked Armenia for a cordial reception.
Some 500 representatives of 80 countries took part in this two-day conference.
Issues related to tolerance, migration and climate change were discussed at the session. A resolution on prevention of genocides was adopted as well. ---0-----
