The Constitutional Court of Armenia will assess compliance of the country’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) with the basic law on November 14, the court website reports.

YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. The Constitutional Court of Armenia will assess compliance of the country’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) with the basic law on November 14, the court website reports.

On October 10 Armenia signed the EEU treaty that comes into effect as from January 1, 2015.

The court sitting is to start at 10:00.

If approved, the document will be sent to the National Assembly for ratification.

Earlier the head of the parliament commission for external affairs Artak Zakaryan told Novosti-Armenia that the parliament will ratify the treaty by the end of this year. –0--
