Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan discussed bilateral cooperation issues with his French counterpart Loran Fabius in Paris Monday, the press office of Armenian foreign ministry reported.
YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan discussed bilateral cooperation issues with his French counterpart Loran Fabius in Paris Monday, the press office of Armenian foreign ministry reported.
Fabius congratulated Nalbandyan on re-appointment and said his country has excellent relations with Armenia, according to the report.
Nalbandyan’s visit to Paris is a good occasion to summarize the works that have been done so far and to discuss cooperation in various fields, France’s foreign minister said.
Nalbandyan, in his turn, said Armenia has special relations with France that is based on historic friendship between the two countries.
The two foreign ministers expressed satisfaction with the current levels of cooperation in various fields, but yet, said economic cooperation should be expanded.
Armenia’s foreign minister welcomed new French investments in the country. Nalbandyan also confirmed Armenia’s readiness to continue cooperation with the Minsk Group for peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict. –0--
