Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will go on a short-term vacancy Thursday, the Presidential Office reports.

YEREVAN, August 2. /ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will go on a short-term vacancy Thursday, the Presidential Office reports.
According to the source, part of his vacancy the President will spend abroad.
The Office also informs that Sargsyan will interrupt his vacancy to leave for Russia on a working visit, where on August 8 he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The leaders will discuss the key issues related to bilateral cooperation in political, humanitarian and commercial-economic spheres. Russia is the principal foreign investor and one of the main commercial partners of Armenia; the total investments made by Russia hit over 2.8 billion dollars, in January-May of this year the mutual trade turnover fetched up 434.8 million dollars,” according to Kremlin.
Moreover, the sides will also concentrate on Eurasian integration processes such as CIS and CSTO, and issues of international and regional importance, including the situation in South Caucasus. —0--
