Armenia will continue its efforts to strengthen allied cooperation in the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian said on Thursday during a meeting with CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha.
YEREVAN, July 23. / ARKA /. Armenia will continue its efforts to strengthen allied cooperation in the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian said on Thursday during a meeting with CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha.
The Armenian foreign ministry said the two men spoke also about the agenda of a CSTO statutory bodies meeting in Tajikistan and the upcoming Armenia's rotating chairmanship in CSTO.
CSTO was established on the basis of the Collective Security Treaty signed on May 15, 1992. CSTO members are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. -0-
