Armenian and French leaders discuss programs in the areas of economy and road construction

YEREVAN, February 11. /ARKA/. French President Emmanuel Macron at a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday in Paris expressed support for Armenia's development and stability, the press service of the Armenian government reported.
It said during the meeting at the Elysee Palace, Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality, emphasizing that the year 2024 had become very dynamic in terms of Armenian-French relations.
The Prime Minister emphasized that numerous meetings were held between the leaders and agencies of the two countries and regular contacts are maintained.
;Today the relations between Armenia and France have reached a new level,’ Pashinyan said.
The leaders of Armenia and France discussed a number of issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation, including the prospects of implementation of joint programs in the fields of economy, infrastructure, road construction, energy, education, tourism and others.
The process of peaceful settlement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, border demarcation, as well as the unblocking of regional communications within the framework of the “Crossroads of Peace” project were mentioned.
Pashinyan emphasized the Armenian government's commitment to the peace agenda. A number of other issues of regional importance were also discussed.
The sides exchanged views on the prospects for further development of Armenia-EU cooperation, as well as the advancement of the democratic reform agenda in Armenia. -0-
