Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandian had a telephone conversation yesterday with his Argentinean counterpart Hector Timerman, the foreign ministry said today adding that the initiative came from the Argentinean side.

YEREVAN, August 27. / ARKA /. Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandian had a telephone conversation yesterday with his Argentinean counterpart Hector Timerman, the foreign ministry said today adding that the initiative came from the Argentinean side.

"During the meeting, the ministers discussed the implementation of agreements reached during president Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to Argentina in July," the ministry said in a statement.

Nalbandian and Timerman were said also to have underlined the importance of periodic consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries. -0-
