Armenian and Greek Defense Ministers discuss cooperation enhancement and regional security issues

YEREVAN, March 4. /ARKA/. Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan welcomed today Greek National Defense Minister Nikolaos Dendias, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit.

A conversation between the ministers was followed by an extended meeting of the two countries' delegations, the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

It said the sides discussed progress made on the agreements reached by the sides in Athens in December 2023 and outlined a number of new directions of cooperation.

An agreement was reached to give a new push to the military-technical cooperation after the ratification by both governments of the Armenian-Greek Agreement on Military-Technical Cooperation.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on regional security issues. -0-
