Armenia’s defense minister is now establishing cooperation with forensic doctors and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to search for people missing as a result of the Karabakh conflict, the press office of the defense ministry reports.

YEREVAN, September 17. /ARKA/. Armenia’s defense minister is now establishing cooperation with forensic doctors and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to search for people missing as a result of the Karabakh conflict, the press office of the defense ministry reports. 

An appropriate document was signed on Wednesday as Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with Director of the National Center for Forensic Medicine Mher Bisharyan and Head of the ICRC Delegation in Armenia Sarah Epprecht.

This document implies sampling and storage of biological materials of members of mission people’s families and collection of other personal data. 

Samples will be kept in the National Center for Forensic Medicine and used if necessary. --0----
