YEREVAN, August 15. /ARКА/. Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan received today the new United Nations Resident Coordinator in Armenia Françoise Jacob, the press service of the ministry reported.

It said Hovhannisyan highly appreciated the current level of cooperation with UN structures and the support provided by the UN in implementing institutional reforms.

They were said to touch also upon the programs implemented jointly with the Armenian government.

They also discussed prospects for cooperation in addressing the needs of displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, financing climate change and a number of other areas.

The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen partnerships and expand the scope of joint initiatives. -0-
