The Armenian government has not yet discussed candidates for the post of new deputy prime minister, prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan told journalists at the National Assembly today.
YEREVAN, October 22. / ARKA /. The Armenian government has not yet discussed candidates for the post of new deputy prime minister, prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan told journalists at the National Assembly today.
Former deputy prime minister Armen Gevorkyan, who also served as minister for local government for the past six years, resigned October 16.
In comments on media reports that there are two candidates for the vacancy –the chairman of the parliamentary committee on economic affairs Vardan Ayvazyan and transport and communications minister Gagik Beglaryan, Abrahamyan said their candidacies were not discussed either.
Armen Gevorgyan was said to have resigned for taking up a private sector job. -0
