YEREVAN, May 7. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, at a regular Cabinet session on Thursday, demanded the ministers and their deputies to present bills in the National Assembly clearer and with more detailed information.
In his words, there are some faults that arouse questions and misunderstanding.
The premier pointed out the draft law on income tax that was recently put on the National Assembly’s floor, as an example.
“Lawmakers were discussing the bill in a different field, since, I think, we didn’t present it in a due way or the MPs didn't look through it properly,” he said.
In this connection, he instructed ministers and their deputies to provide more detailed information on bills.
Abrahamyan also said that there are faults in organization of extraordinary sessions in the Parliament.
In particular, the ministries are very slow in sending bills to the National Assembly, and therefore the lawmakers have little time to look through them.
The premier instructed the ministers to submit bills to the Parliament one week before their consideration. ---0----
