Armenian premier makes some reshuffle in government

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has dismissed Deputy Finance Minister Suren Karayan appointing him to the post of the first deputy minister of international economic integration and reforms, the press office of the Armenian government reported on Tuesday.

YEREVAN, January 13./ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has dismissed Deputy Finance Minister Suren Karayan appointing him to the post of the first deputy minister of international economic integration and reforms, the press office of the Armenian government reported on Tuesday.
The premier also relieved Deputy Territorial Administration Minister Stepan Barseghyan from his post.
Karen Isakhanyan and Artashes Bakhshyan, both the territorial administration minister's deputies, were dismissed as well and appointed as the territorial administration and emergency minister's deputies.
Vache Terteryan, the first deputy territorial administration minister, was dismissed for the new post of the first deputy territorial administration and emergency minister.
David Karapetyan and Haykaram Mkhitaryan, the emergency minister's deputies, were moved from their positions to the same positions in the territorial administration and emergency ministry.
On November 2014, Armenia's National Assembly amended the law on the government’s composition.
Under the amended law, territorial administration and emergency ministries merged into one ministry – the ministry of territorial administration and emergency.
The amendments also implied establishment of a new ministry – the ministry of economic integration and reforms. Now Armenia has 18 ministries. --0---
