YEREVAN, October 2. /ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan expressed condolences to U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday in connection with a shooting in Las Vegas. 

According to news reports, at least 50 people are dead and 400 injured after a man, armed with a high powered automatic rifle, rained bullets down on an outdoor country music festival below, from his suite on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort.

"It was with a deep pain that I learned about the terrible violence in Las Vegas, in which dozens were killed and hundreds injured," Sargsyan’s message of condolences reads.

Sargsyan expressed deep condolences to Trump, the friendly people of the United States and the families of the killed people, wishing them strength and courage, and a speedy recovery to the wounded. 

"We pray together with the people of the United States for the repose of the souls of the dead and for the recovery of the victims," reads the message. -0--
