Armenian Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan has asked his Russian counterpart Yury Chayka to assign the judicial proceedings on the case of Gyumri killings to Armenia, the Armenian prosecutor general office's press service reported today.

YEREVAN, February 3. /ARKA/. Armenian Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan has asked his Russian counterpart Yury Chayka to assign the judicial proceedings on the case of Gyumri killings to Armenia, the Armenian prosecutor general office's press service reported today. 

On January 12, six members of a family in Gyumri were shot dead and the seventh member, six-month-old baby died one week later in a hospital. Valery Permyakov, a serviceman at Russia's military base in Armenia, was detained on a homicide charges. ---0------
