Artsvik Minasyan to cooperate closely with Armenian National Assembly if he becomes minister

Artsvik Minasyan, an MP from Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutiun, told journalists on Friday that he intended to cooperate closely with the National Assembly if he would take over a ministerial post.
YEREVAN, February 22. /ARKA/. Artsvik Minasyan, an MP from Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutiun, told journalists on Friday that he intended to cooperate closely with the National Assembly if he would take over a ministerial post.
He said that a cooperation agreement is expected to be sealed between Dashnakstutiun and the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.
Minasyan said that the agreement will include a roadmap for overcoming major challenges.
In his words, the roadmap’s focus is not limited to the nearest two years – it considers long-term collaboration regardless of the parties’ positions in the National Assembly after the parliamentary elections to be conducted in Armenia on 2017.
Speaking about his probable appointment to the post of the economy minister, the MP said that any person at any segment of state administration should display his/her merits.
He also declared that both the parliament and the government “should be a single organism inside the country to overcome existing problems”.
According to media resources, Dashnaktsutiun will obtain economy, science and education and territorial administration ministries. --0----
