Azerbaijani armed forces used various caliber weapons to fire in the direction of some settlements in the Tavush region of Armenia on December 17 evening and at about midnight, Armenian Ministry of Defense spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan wrote in a Facebook post.

He said that the shelling occurred between 22:00 and 22:30, as well as around midnight. The Azerbaijani armed forces fired in the direction of the Ijevan-Noyemberyan highway in the Tavush region of Armenia.
"Only after the return fire Azerbaijani armed forces stopped firing. There were no losses on the Armenian side," he said. --0--
