YEREVAN, December 2. /ARKA/. Azerbaijani troops continued breaching the ceasefire with Karabakh on the line of contact this night, the press office of the Nagorno-Karabakh republic reported Friday morning.
Fire from the Azerbaijani side was most intensive on the eastern section of the contact line – Azerbaijanis fired here about 1,400 shots at Karabakh position from light weapons of various calibers.
They also used 60-mm and 82-mm mortars (nine rounds) and a grenade launcher (one round).
In total, Azerbaijani troops breached the ceasefire 125 times by firing more than 2,000 shots at the opposite side.
According to Nagorno-Karabakh defense ministry, no losses were on the Armenian side, and the allegation released by some Azerbaijani media resources that ‘one Armenian soldier was killed and nine were wounded is nothing more than another disinformation’.
The Karabakh army continues controlling the situation responding adequately to the assaulters when necessary. Now things along the contact line are calm. --0---
