YEREVAN, April 17. /ARKA/. German's Bundestag will gather on April 24 for a special session dedicated to the 100 anniversary of Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire, the press office of the Armenian foreign ministry reported on Friday referring to the information Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan received from Martin Petzoldt and Tankred Schipanski, members of Bundestag who visited Armenia.

Welcoming the German guests, Nalbandyan stressed that inter-parliamentary cooperation plays an important part in relationship between the two countries.

The Armenian minister and the German lawmakers exchanged opinions over cooperation between Armenia and the European Union. Nalbandyan presented the events being held in Armenia and across the world on the centenary of Armenian Genocide.

Some world and regional problems, including Ukraine crisis and the progress reached in the talks over Iranian nuclear program, were discussed at the meeting as well. --0-----
