Karabakh troops foiled this night raids attempted by the Azerbaijani side on the eastern and southern sections of the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces, the press office of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s defense ministry reported Friday morning.
YEREVAN, October 21. /ARKA/. Karabakh troops foiled this night raids attempted by the Azerbaijani side on the eastern and southern sections of the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces, the press office of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s defense ministry reported Friday morning.
The raiders were thrown back with losses. Nobody was killed or wounded on the Karabakh side.
The Azerbaijani side has breached ceasefire regime more than 50 times over the night by firing around 2,800 shots at Karabakh positions.
Some 200 shots were fired from large-caliber machine-guns.
According to the press release, the Karabakh army continues controlling the situation on the contact line and resorts to the return steps only when it is extremely necessary. ---0---
