YEREVAN, December 2. /ARKA/. The government of the Netherlands is interested in developing relations with Armenia, particularly in the areas of promoting democratic reforms, expanding economic ties, and strengthening Armenia-EU relations. This was stated by the newly appointed Ambassador of the Netherlands to Armenia, Marieke Harriet Monroy-Winter, during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as reported by the press service of the Armenian government.

Pashinyan noted that close cooperation has developed between the two countries in recent years, with an active political dialogue in place. He expressed hope that, as a result of effective bilateral efforts, relations in various areas will continue to grow.

The interlocutors also discussed other matters of mutual interest.
